Tensuhi
The Art of Areté Co-Curator, Elemental Resonance (UK)
Tensuhi - founder of Elemental Resonance and co-curator of the Art of Areté programme at IMS and international sound practitioner.
Tensuhi bridges ancient sonic traditions with contemporary research in psychoacoustics and vibrational sound as medicine. Her work explores how harmonic resonance influences brainwave states, emotional regulation and energetic coherence merging science and spirituality through the universal language of frequency.
As founder of Elemental Resonance (est. 2012), a platform dedicated to restorative vibrational sound therapy, her methodology is grounded in bio-resonance and informed by Taoist principles, the Kototama tradition of vibrational language, and the Five Element philosophy of Traditional Chinese Medicine synthesizing ancient wisdom with current frequency-based modalities.
Through her sessions and immersive sound journeys, she orchestrates experiences that explore the geometry of vibration, weaving sound, movement, and consciousness into a coherent field of transformation.
A former international DJ turned vibrational artist, Tensuhi’s evolution from the dancefloor to the creation of temples of sound reflects her lifelong fascination with rhythm, resonance, and the energetic interplay between sound and the body. Her workshops and performances have been hosted worldwide from Bali and Peru to Mexico, Mallorca, Canada, Australia, and London. She continues to create immersive experiences that reconnect participants to the living intelligence of sound and the natural world.
Her acclaimed meditation album, Elemental Resonance, released on Basement Jaxx’s Celestial Being Records, features a series of non-electronic acoustic recordings inspired by the elemental forces of nature. She also hosted the pioneering Power of Sound panel at BMC (2018) and later at ADE (2019), curating conversations between leading artists and researchers exploring the intersection of sound, frequency, and human potential.
Her work continues to illuminate how resonance both sonic and emotional can serve as a bridge to higher states of awareness and consciousness.
