Sydney Blu

Sydney Blu is a globally touring DJ, producer, and founder of Blu Music and the nonprofit initiative Change the Beat, which champions women and underrepresented artists in electronic music. With releases on leading labels including Drumcode, mau5trap, Armada, and HE.SHE.THEY, her breakout track “Give It Up For Me” reached #1 on Beatport twice—over a decade apart. She has performed at major festivals such as Ultra and BPM, and at iconic venues including Space Ibiza, Stereo Montreal, and Sisyphos Berlin. Alongside her artist career, Sydney is an active advocate for equity in the music industry, playing a key role in establishing the JUNO Award category for Underground Dance Single of the Year and continuing to drive change through education, mentorship, and global community initiatives.
