MEERA

MEERA is a London based DJ, producer, radio presenter and event curator. With a lifelong relationship with radio, she is a strong advocate for the medium and the role of tastemakers in shaping music culture. She previously worked as a BBC radio producer, including alongside Mary Anne Hobbs, developing a sharp ear for curation and emerging talent. Originally a vinyl DJ since the early 2000s, her approach is rooted in rave and sound system culture. Known for high-energy, bass-driven sets, she blends deep, tech, percussive house, garage and disco with a dancefloor first focus. Since returning to the scene in 2024, she has rapidly built a global following through record-led storytelling, connecting past and present dancefloor culture. Now a resident on Select Radio and Pure FM, she champions both heritage and forward-thinking sounds across radio and clubs including Ministry of Sound, The Cross and MOT, as well as international stages such as UNVRS and ADE.
