Marcial Bardolet

Marcial Bardolet is an environmental manager and conservationist based in the Balearic Islands. Since 2017, he leads the Government’s Posidonia Surveillance Service, directing one of the most advanced seagrass protection systems in the Mediterranean, safeguarding the Posidonia meadows that sustain marine biodiversity and the crystal-clear waters of Ibiza and Formentera.
With over 20 years of experience in marine conservation, he is President of Mallorca Preservation and co-founder of the Mediterranean Posidonia Network. He regularly speaks at international forums, including the UN Ocean Conference, on ocean sustainability, marine governance, and blue carbon.
He also has a background in international cultural production, contributing to immersive multimedia installations by Brian Eno, working at the intersection of sound, technology and visual arts across major institutions and festivals worldwide.
