Katie Bain is the Director of dance/electronic coverage and Senior Music Correspondent at Billboard. Since joining the company in 2019, she's written more than a dozen cover stories on artists including Justice, Peggy Gou, Swedish House Mafia, Mau P, Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. She's reported stories from 13 countries on four continents and has done countless interviews with musicians both legendary and rising. Beyond writing, she's interviewed many artists, including PinkPantheress, John Summit, Zedd and Dom Dolla on camera in the studio. In 2025, she was first ever winner of FEMME HOUSE's music journalist of the year award.
