Jakub Kaczmarek

Jakub Kaczmarek, Vice President, Domestic Poland and A&R Central Eastern Europe As Vice President, Domestic Poland and A&R CEE, Jakub oversees the strategic and operational management of all domestic labels, including Def Jam, Polydor and Island. In addition to his leadership role in Poland, he directs A&R strategy across the Central and Eastern European region, contributes as a member of regional marketing and A&R working groups within Central Europe, and plays a key role in the dynamic growth of Universal Music’s presence in local markets such as Romania and Bulgaria. A strong advocate for a unified and consistent repertoire and marketing approach, Jakub is committed to building artist and label brands with intention and impact. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is passionate about tennis, cooking, film, and music.
