Horatio is a highly acclaimed Romanian DJ and producer who has made waves in the industry since the late '90s. With his eclectic blend of techno and tech house, he has headlined top clubs and festivals around the world. Horatio is also the resident DJ and promoter of the monthly party Outside, in Bacau, Romania, which has been strongly influenced by his experience in Ibiza. As a producer, Horatio has released tracks on some of the best techno and tech house record labels around the world, including Bush Records, Airborne Black, Juicy Music, Orange Records, ReneSanz, Kneaded Pains, Codex, Hotl, Iamt, Gain Records, Family Piknik Music, Superfreq, Materialism, Undr The Radr, Stealth Records, Safe Music, Insert Coin, Kuukoo Records, Desolat, Viva Music, Made to Play, Circus Recordings, Bouq, Stereo Production, Clarisse Records, Deeperfect, Undr The Radr, Insert Coin, Snatch Records, Armada Subjekt, and more. Horatio's turning point came with his main track from his Viva Music EP, Sing With Swing, which reached number 9 on the overall Beatport 100 chart. His track Ritual stayed at number 1 on the Dance FM Top 20 chart for 20 consecutive weeks. In 2022, he was the fifth trending artist worldwide (according to 1001) with his track METAPHYSICAL. Horatio has also remixed artists such as Robbie Rivera, Riva Starr, Roger Sanchez, and collaborated with Chus & Ceballos for a Billboard chart-topping track named "Brooklyn Bridge". The legendary Mixmag magazine premiered his tracks "put A Smile On Your Face" and "Found Love". His music has received support from some of the world's best DJs, including Pete Tong, Joris Voorn, Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, and others. In 2016, Horatio was nominated for Best Breakthrough at the DJ Awards (held in Ibiza). In 2020, he was personally invited by CARL COX to join the AIMI FM project, a revolutionary concept for programming electronic music creation algorithms. Horatio is one of the first romanian djs who received an official DJ certification from the PETE TONG DJ ACADEMY. Horatio is a well-known radio host who has two monthly radio shows called "IbizaHolic" and "This Is Horatio&Friends". Both shows feature electronic music, but with different genres and guests. "IbizaHolic" is dedicated to deep, tech, and melodic sounds.
