Avantika

Artist, Entrepreneur, ADBC Live (IN)

Avantika is an Indian-born evolutionary artist building groove-driven global house music experiences through DJ sets, original productions, and live vocals. Known for her distinctive cultural perspective and commanding stage presence, she creates powerful, immersive journeys for dance floors worldwide. Classically trained in Indian vocal music and influenced by rock, pop, and global electronic sounds, Avantika’s artistic foundation is rooted in both discipline and exploration. She fuses live vocals with driving house grooves and cross-cultural rhythms, shaping a distinctive sonic language that connects heritage with contemporary club culture. She made history as the first Indian DJ to perform at EXIT Festival in Serbia, one of Europe’s largest festivals, and has performed at global stages, including Burning Man. She has shared lineups with internationally recognised artists such as Black Coffee, Claptone, Monolink, and Jan Blomqvist, to name a few. Her debut EP, Moody Koyal, released on Berlin’s iconic Get Physical Music, established her as a “fearless new voice in electronic music,” blending genres, languages, and cultural influences into a sound that feels both personal and universal. Through her project “Welcome to Desi House”, Avantika reimagines global dance music through the rhythmic identity and emotional depth of South Asia. Rooted in groovy, vocal-led house, she blends Hindi, Punjabi, and English lyricism, live Indian percussion, and contemporary club production to create a culturally distinctive sound that bridges heritage with global dancefloor energy. She is also the co-founder of ADBC Live, a culture-led creative company focused on building artist brands, original intellectual properties, and immersive experiences that connect music with community and lifestyle. Under this banner, she has developed concepts such as Avantika And Amigos (AAA), Gratitude Gatherings, and If It Wasn’t For Music, which are initiatives centred around inclusivity, collaboration, and intentional cultural exchange. Her community platform, Avantika And Amigos, recently brought together more than 1500 attendees in Sri Lanka for a New Year’s Eve showcase featuring an all-female lineup of artists from India and Sri Lanka. As she continues to expand her international presence, Avantika is helping shape the future of female talent within India’s electronic music scene while emerging as a cultural bridge between South Asia and the global dancefloor. With a clear artistic vision and dynamic performances, she stands as a cultural ambassador and sonic storyteller, part of a new wave of globally minded artists redefining the future of electronic music.
