Ahmed Hameed

Bahrain-born, Ahmed is the co-founder and resident DJ of two of the region's homegrown electronic music platforms: Soundscapes, the decade-old festival that spans music, wellness, art and community with five international editions in Zanzibar, and Noctuary, a selective party series launched in 2018 in Dubai and since hosted pop-ups from Saudi to Berlin, Lisbon and Sri Lanka.

His work standards are deeply reflected in artist booking and curation, sourcing the highest-quality sound alongside seasoned professionals in the field, while also building communities around a shared love of music. His latest venture takes that commitment further: collaborating with artists, friends and engineers to have launched a custom-designed sound system made in the UAE, in partnership with 8Miles Sound.
