Morgan Deane heads up Lasher Louis Productions and 508 Events, focusing on multi-scale event and festival operations, production, and risk management. With nearly 20 years of live event experience, she has produced hundreds of events varying in size from 500 to 100Kcapacities on three continents.
She has previously served as Director of Marketing for TAO Group, managed Marquee Las Vegas’ opening, and handled all talent and creative messaging for Tao Group’s mega-club, including the relaunch of the New York City outpost in 2013. Morgan also served as Director of Events and Operations for Made Event, producing shows in Central Park and events for Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond at Madison Square Garden. She was instrumental in the launch, production, and operations of the Electric Zoo festival in New York in 2009 and led the festival’s expansion to Mexico and Japan.
Since the entertainment industry ground to a halt in March 2020, Morgan has tirelessly worked with operators, trade organizations, governments, and municipalities on safe reopening strategies for Independent Venues in a time of COVID. She serves as chair of the Reopening Committee for the New York Independent Venue Association (NYIVA). She serves as the group’s primary liaison with New York State on reopening logistics and operations.
