Announcing Back2Live a very special live showcase event, featuring a host of brand new talent, representing the spectrum of artists currently breaking ground on the live stage.

First up, April Towers’ electronic tinged alternative song writing has been making huge waves across the UK and beyond. The Nottingham-based duo will be playing a very special live set drenched in their own brand of forward- thinking electro-pop during their Back2Live performance. The laidback rhymes of Harley Maxwell are guaranteed to inject the funk into the Hard Rock Hotel for his own live performance. A resident of the white isle with a delivery that’s decidedly English, expect the young vocalist to project a unique mixture of vibes from his recent Summer Daze release. After writing for the likes of Lana Del Rey, Penny Foster a.k.a Power Dress has stepped out on her own – unleashing her single ‘Torture’ to the world.

The Wolf’s music is shrouded in mystery. His dark, brooding deep house rhythms are coupled with a visceral and inherently cool live show. The boys known as This Is A Recording are a London based collective of DJs and musicians brought to you by Mental Genius Music and flying in under the balearic radar, taking us on a journey towards the sun. UNER is a man that is certainly no stranger to Ibiza. As a resident at Ushuaïa’s famed ANTS events – the Cadenza, Visionquest and Get Physical producer has become a part of the island’s clubbing folklore. Don’t miss the chance to catch him performing a very special live set at Back2Live at the start of Ibiza’s party season. The line up is completed with a supporting DJ set from versatile Sankeys resident Andy Baxter.

IMS partner Danny Whittle had this to say about the showcase:

“ This year IMS want to embrace and showcase the live potential of electronic music. We all know there are super talented DJs in our scene but there are also super talented bands and artists. So for the first time ever IMS will be presenting along, with Gibson Guitars, a full live extravaganza on stage at the Hard Rock Hotel on Wednesday 20th May, following the BACK2LIVE panel on Wednesday afternoon where we will be discussing live music in general. Entry to this event will be free to everyone not just IMS delegates to come and enjoy these amazing artists”
