Grenoble born Caroline Hervé, aka Miss Kittin has over the past years become one of the most inspiring DJs and voices to emerge within the electronic music scene. Alongside long-time production partner The Hacker, tracks such as ‘Frank Sinatra’ and ‘1982’ propelled them into the spotlight, whilst further collaborations with fellow feline Felix Da Housecat’s ‘Silver Screen (Shower Scene)’ and ‘Madame Hollywood’, Golden Boy’s ‘Rippin Kittin’, Sven Väth ‘Je T’aime’, Steve Bug, Antonelli Electric and T.Raumschmiere to name but a few, have confirmed Miss Kittin’s star billing status.
Before her hotly anticipated B2B set at Dalt Vila with Seth Troxler, Miss Kittin, will bring her strong character and vast experience in a male dominated industry to the IMS Ibiza stage for the Diversity Debate, hosted by shesaid.so and Smirnoff Sound Collective.
Jesse Rose broke through by helping to create a sub-genre with the track ‘A-Sided’ on Switch’s Dubsided. He’s since set up four influential labels (Front Room, Made To Play, Play It Down and its subprint A-SIDED) which have been responsible for launching some of House and Techno’s biggest names. Jesse’s discography boasts over 200 releases, from originals to remixes, his DJ career has seen him traverse the globe a ridiculous about of times performing at the world’s best, biggest, and most credible clubs, parties and festivals.
Jesse Rose will feature at IMS Ibiza in a candid interview with B.Traits called “Life After Decks – Why I’m Quitting The Job I Love’.
Last November, Rose shocked the industry by announcing his retirement after a career spanning nearly 20 years that earned him top respect as a house music master. He’s going the best way possible by embarking on a final tour and releasing a album titled ‘Alright Mate’. Outspoken Rose will share his journey and why he is turning in his decks for a new life path.
“It’s been one hell of a ride, from playing around the world to helping support many artists careers through our labels and then producing and remixing literally hundreds of artists. I’m really looking forward to helping the next generation come through.”
